Sprinkler system design and installation, repairs, drip irrigation, smart controllers, backflow testing and seasonal care for homes, builders and businesses. We measure your pressure and flow first, lay out every zone with care, install with clean lines and explain the care plan plainly, with one local crew from the first visit to the final test.
Pressure makes heads work, but flow decides how many can run at once. A good design starts by measuring both.
Deep, less frequent watering grows deeper roots. Daily light watering keeps roots shallow and the lawn weak.
Middle Tennessee clay drinks slowly. Short runs with pauses let water sink in instead of running to the street.
Shrubs and flowers do best with slow water at the roots, on their own zone, away from the lawn sprays.
A blowout in late fall clears water from pipes, valves and the backflow device before a hard freeze can split them.
Every job starts with a close look at the water supply, the valves, the heads and the way water moves across your lawn and beds. Then we recommend the right system, explain the care and give you a written scope.

Yes. The visit and the estimate are free and come with no obligation. You approve a written scope and price before any work begins.
It depends on your water flow and pressure, the size of each area and the kind of heads. Our zone planner gives a starting point, and a site visit confirms it.
Common causes are a failed valve solenoid, a broken wire, a controller setting or a clogged valve. A technician tests each in turn.
Before the first hard freeze, usually in late October or early November in Middle Tennessee. A blowout clears water from the lines so pipes and heads are not damaged.
Many homes take a few days from layout to start-up, depending on the size of the yard, the soil and the weather. We give a schedule in the written scope.

Music City Irrigation provides sprinkler system design and installation, repair and troubleshooting, drip and smart controls, seasonal care, backflow testing, commercial and community programs, maintenance plans and planning help. Calculators, cost ranges, checklists and guides on this site are planning references, not engineering, plumbing code or water utility advice, and only a site visit can confirm what a property needs. Results and timing depend on water pressure and flow, soil, slope, plants, weather and ongoing care, and some problems, such as buried leaks or freeze damage, cannot be seen until a system is tested. Controllers, sensors and efficient nozzles can reduce waste but do not replace a well-designed system. Permits, backflow rules, irrigation meters, association rules and watering restrictions vary by city and provider, so check yours before you start. Prices shown in the planner are ballpark placeholders only and your written scope is what counts.
