Cracked pipe, split fittings, broken valves and damaged backflow devices found and repaired after a freeze, with a plan to prevent a repeat.
Freeze damage hides until you use the system. A pipe splits slightly in January, but you only learn about it in April when water bubbles up through the lawn. A cracked backflow device may leak at the first turn-on, and a cracked valve body may spray from the valve box. Sometimes the damage is wide, with many fittings split along a single line, because water trapped in a low spot freezes and expands over a long stretch.
We inspect carefully on spring start-up or after a hard freeze. We pressurize the system gradually, trace leaks and test valves and the backflow device. Repairs range from replacing a few fittings to rebuilding a valve manifold or replacing a backflow device. We repair piping with proper fittings, flush the line and test under pressure. Then we talk about how the damage happened, whether lines have low spots that trap water and how winterization can prevent the same problem next year.
We bring pressure up slowly and trace leaks, so damage is found without causing more.
Pipe, valves, backflow device and heads are checked, because damage often spreads along a line.
Damaged parts are replaced with proper fittings and tested under pressure.
We look for low spots that trap water and explain how winterization prevents it.

You tell us about your yard and what you want, a new system, a repair or a tune-up, and we set a visit that fits your day.
We walk the property, find the water source and valves, test pressure and flow, look at every head and zone and take photos of anything of note.
We explain your options for zones, heads, drip, controllers and savings, sketch the layout and give you a written scope with clear timing and pricing.
We arrange for underground utilities to be located, protect the lawn, driveways and beds and mark every head, valve and pipe run before we dig.
We install or repair pipe, valves, heads and wiring with the right parts for each zone, flush the lines and keep the site tidy as we work.
We program the controller, test every zone with you, walk through watering and winterizing in plain steps and set a reminder for your next check.
Look for leaks, geysers, wet spots and low pressure when you turn it on in spring.
Often not for irrigation systems, but check your policy. We provide a clear written summary of the damage.
Yes. A professional blowout in fall clears the water that freezes and splits parts.
It varies from a few fittings to a manifold or backflow device. We give a written quote after inspection.
Better to call us first. Pressurizing a damaged system can cause floods and more damage.
