Rotary and matched-precipitation nozzles installed to apply water more slowly and evenly, cutting runoff and waste without replacing your system.
Conventional spray nozzles apply water fast. A typical fixed spray head can put down an inch of water in under half an hour, which is faster than clay soil can take it in. The excess runs off, and misting from high pressure loses more to the wind. High-efficiency nozzles are a simple upgrade that screws onto the same body but behaves very differently, using multiple thin streams or slow rotating streams that fall in larger drops and soak in.
We replace old spray nozzles with high-efficiency types that match each zone, so every head applies water at a similar rate. This matters, because mixed nozzles on one zone make some areas wet and others dry. We also add pressure regulation where pressure is high, adjust arcs as we go and update run times, because slower application needs longer runs. In many yards the upgrade delivers more even lawns with less water and less runoff, for a modest cost.
Rotary nozzles apply water gently, giving clay soil time to absorb it.
All heads on a zone apply water at the same rate, so the whole area is watered evenly.
Larger drops resist wind and evaporation, so more water reaches the lawn.
Slower nozzles need different schedules, and we adjust them so you get the benefit.

You tell us about your yard and what you want, a new system, a repair or a tune-up, and we set a visit that fits your day.
We walk the property, find the water source and valves, test pressure and flow, look at every head and zone and take photos of anything of note.
We explain your options for zones, heads, drip, controllers and savings, sketch the layout and give you a written scope with clear timing and pricing.
We arrange for underground utilities to be located, protect the lawn, driveways and beds and mark every head, valve and pipe run before we dig.
We install or repair pipe, valves, heads and wiring with the right parts for each zone, flush the lines and keep the site tidy as we work.
We program the controller, test every zone with you, walk through watering and winterizing in plain steps and set a reminder for your next check.
Often yes. They cost little, fit existing heads and can cut runoff and water use noticeably.
Yes. They apply water more slowly, so run times usually need to increase a little. We update them.
Most spray bodies accept them. We check what you have and replace bodies only where needed.
Yes, and slopes benefit most, because slow application reduces runoff.
With clean water, many last for years. Sand and grit wear them sooner.
