Big properties need big-picture irrigation: pumps, long runs, many zones and smart control. Here is how to plan one.
Large properties turn irrigation into infrastructure. Long driveways, rolling lawns, gardens, orchards, pastures and a house far from the road all need water, and the supply may not keep up. Pipe runs are long and pressure falls with distance. A system that is simply scaled up from a small yard tends to have weak spray at the far end and a very large water bill.
We plan estate systems with the whole property in view. We measure flow and pressure at the source, consider a booster pump or a well, size mainlines for long runs and break the property into many zones by use, sun and slope. We combine rotors for large lawns, drip for gardens and trees and sometimes separate systems for pastures or play areas. Smart controllers with flow monitoring protect against leaks on lines that run far from the house.

It depends on pressure and flow at the source. We test and tell you honestly.
Yes. Many estate owners start with the front and add areas over time.
A flow sensor and master valve shut the system down automatically if flow is too high.
